A message from the pastor.......

"I delight greatly in the Lord, my heart rejoices in my God." (Isaiah 61:10). Certainly, my heart is rejoicing because God has truly been and is Still good to me and to our family, here at Friendship. We have endured a tempestuous year. We have a record number of physical storms and there have been storms of illnesses, but thanks be to God; He sustained us and we are truly stronger members in the body of Christ.  "And we know all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

I have been blessed, since God appointed me as your pastor; I am grateful for the love, prayers and concern you share with me and my family.  I am thankful He has allowed me to serve you for the past 25 years and has allowed not only me, but you as a congregation to experience spiritual growth. We have seen many of "our sons" in the ministry blessed with congregations to lead in various parts of the state.  We have seen growth in our numerous church ministries and in our physical membership, for God provides souls for baptism monthly.

I have also been blessed with a capable staff at Friendship.  It is my prayer that God will continue carrying us "Higher" in Him.  We have learned to worship the Lord "in spirit and in truth" and we will continue lifting and praising God together.  We will continue depending on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide, not only me as your pastor, but us all as a church family in Christ; until He says "Well Done."
