Stork's Nest
Stork’s Nest is a program designed to encourage women to get early and regular prenatal care so that their babies get a healthy start in life. It is a cooperative national project of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and the March of Dimes. Friendship makes it possible for the Sorority’s Tuscaloosa Chapter (Beta Eta Zeta) to operate its Stork’s Nest; thus, contributing to the health and welfare of children. The Stork’s Nest is housed on the second floor next to the cafeteria. It is operated by members of both Friendship and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. The clientele is made up of economically challenged women of multiple backgrounds and ethnicities. Giving back to the community remains a high priority of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. The Stork’s Nest is merely one means of accomplishing this goal.

Phoenix House
The Phoenix House, is a Drug Rehabilitation establishment directly across the street from Friendship Baptist Church. This partnership was established in 1992 between Friendship and The Phoenix House. Friendship agreed to support the center's relocation efforts and we in turn could establish programs to aid our youth and the youth of the community in prevention efforts. The Phoenix House set up a written agreement whereby Friendship could have the use of the gym and some office space which were equally agreed upon by both parties. We can see plainly now, how the Lord allowed this partnership because many residents have been baptized or rededicated their lives to Christ at Friendship on their way to a full recovery.
